Looking for some places to go for date night? Raleigh has quite a few options. I like getting out and exploring new places. Here are just a few that have stood out recently.
Every first Friday of the month, you can guarantee there will be something to do downtown Raleigh. One of my favorite places to visit is CAM Raleigh. There’s always a great modern art exhibit and there’s usually some entertainment on first Friday’s.

There’s also a new addition to the Warehouse District – The Dillon. This is a mixed-use development that includes offices, residents and retail. We visited it shortly after it opened although they’re still working on new restaurants and retail spaces. This is definitely one of my favorite areas downtown.

If you want to go further into downtown, visit Watts and Ward for a class, vintage vibe or Brewery Bhavana for a stylish atmosphere with a mix of Asian cuisine.
Right in the heart of downtown, you’ll find The Haymaker on Fayetteville St. I love this bar because it’s unexpected. There are classic cocktails and a very vintage, Victorian decor but the menu has hints of hip-hop inspiration that carries into the walls where you’ll find Biggie lyrics.

Moving from downtown, but not too far, North Hills has a lot of options. There’s restaurants, movies, bowling and sometimes concerts. A new comer to the area is Bar Taco, which is one of my favorite fast casual restaurants.

There are a lot more great places to go for date night but I wanted to share a few. Stay tuned for more.
