I love how Alicia Keys said that initially she thought her husband, Swizz Beats, was just a show off, someone she would probably never be with. But in turn, he taught her how to live more freely and for the moment while she taught him to live deeply. I love that.
Like many college kids, relationships may start off weird.
I never imagined my relationships with some people.
They may start off as fun and games but turn into something more.
Being physically attracted to someone is one thing. Being able to get along with them, yeah, that’s great too.
But a real connection, being able to go deep, is what I’m looking for.
I love to know how people think, especially a significant other.
I like asking random and sometimes off the wall questions, just to get in their head.
Sometimes I’m not into hype or doing the regular. I like trying new things.
I like having laid back, chill days where I can walk downtown, visit an art gallery, go to a used book store. I cherish quiet, inquisitive moments. And I want my significant other to be okay with that and maybe even join me.
As I’m getting older and finding out what I like. I hope that I can find my “soul mate” that will accept this and come into my world.
I want a deeper love.
