I don’t know about y’all, but I have been using this time to do a little online shopping. At the beginning of the stay-at-home order I tried to resist looking at my favorite online shops, but as I kept seeing emails and posts about sales (especially from my fav. bloggers) – I gave in.
I also figured since I wouldn’t be spending money on going out or travel any time soon, I might as well treat myself (isn’t that what we always tell ourselves?!) Besides, one of my goals this year was to update my wardrobe since I still have a lot of pieces in my closet from years ago (like college). I also used this as a time to get some things I actually needed or had my eye on from Amazon.
So here are some of my recent purchases.
Clothing
90 Degree by Reflex leggings – I’m in love with these leggings. I got my first pair as part of an Instagram giveaway and I’m so happy I did. These are great for working out because they don’t move at all and I feel like they’re just an overall good fit.
Black crop top from SheIn – I love crop tops for the summer to pair with jeans, skirts, etc.
Snakeskin slides – Also from SheIn. I know many people are skeptical about ordering from them, but I feel like they’ve upgraded their quality over the years. I mostly purchase basic pieces (e.g., shirts, swimsuits, leggings) and things I wouldn’t be too upset about trying and it not working. But I also read reviews about each item before purchasing.
Ripped jean shorts – I feel like I don’t have enough jean shorts, so these were a good purchase. They were also on sale!
Graphic tee w/neon slogan – I just thought this would be a good graphic tee that would go with virtually anything and it was marked down to like $4! I think it’s sold out now, so I linked a similar one.
Olive green pants with buckle – I love solid colored pants. I can also wear these to work.
Sleeveless bodysuit – Can’t get enough of these.
Corset style top – I can definitely see myself wearing this on a night out/to a day time outing.
Over sized stripe shirt dress – I think this would be really cute dressed up with heels.
Amazon buys
Soy candles – I got these because the reviews were great, but I am looking to support some small candle businesses. So let me know if you know any!
Multi-color Apple watch band – I love this band because it goes with everything.
iPhone 11 clear case – I upgraded my phone, so I needed a new case. This one also comes with two screen protectors.
I’ve also had the chance to check out Amazon Fresh and I love it!
